Serena Yang

Serena obtained her LL.B. at Fudan University, one of China’s top law schools, and her LL.M. at the University of Chicago Law School, where she graduated at the top of her class.
Serena specializes in securities and commercial litigation, including foreign judgment enforcement cases. Trained both as a transactional lawyer and a litigator, Serena is equipped with the mindset of both, with exceptional attention to details and a keen awareness of potential risks. Her prior transactional experience provides her with a deep understanding of complex securities and financing transactions, offering unique insights into securities and commercial litigation.
Prior to joining MoNi, Serena was an associate at King & Wood Mallesons, one of China’s leading law firms. She represented major banks, financial institutions, and real estate companies in structured finance and securitization, cross-border lending, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and general corporate matters.
